Things I have learned on Tuesday 12th of May

In the words of Merlin the Magician, the best cure for being miserable is to learn something. Luckily, I learnt a number of things today.

  • Friends who wear harp-cases and go on adventures around Unilodge are the best sorts of friends
  • iPods found on campus are sadly unlikely to be returned
  • E(cell) = E(reduction)(cathode) – E(reduction)(anode)
  • Red wine gets better the more of it you distill/drink
  • ‘Love at first sight’ should really be renamed ‘love after 10 seconds (cumulative) of eyecontact, which is about how long it takes for your soul to become visible to the other person’.

I also learned some really disturbing stuff in philosophy about childbirth in the 70s/80s, and that my finger is in fact quite swollen. RSI? Me thinks so.

Haiku for today;

Arguments in maths,
90s trash? Say it ain’t so!
My music is lost.
